Book of the Month: AZU’s “Dreams ofTM” series
What is the first thing we do when returning from our first dream vacation?
We show photos to everyone and we end up often a bit disappointed by the poor quality and the lack of imagination we had when we took the photos. (We discovered after processing that many of our finest efforts ended out of focus because for many of us they were taken with a small dispensable throw away camera we bought from a local shop). Trust me on this one it’s true, you want to capture a moment and you forgot your camera.
Going through the first titles in the Azu’s “Dreams of series” from Azu Editions the first thing that came to mind was that I had been to and seen some of the places and they were shown just as I pictured them in my mind . The next thing that came to mind was the quality of the photography immortalizing the place and the moment in time was much better than what I had achieved on my own.
The Azu’s “Dreams of Series” by Azu Edition is a major global book series designed with the world traveler in mind. The books picture a destination in such a way that makes you remember and dream about what you have seen a few moments back.
The title “Dreams of” we found most appropriate and really fit to what the books convey.
The books are well assembled, small and compact. They are definitely on our list of gift items to friends and family. They portray all the destinations we looked at with class and elegance. The photos are outstanding and apparently taken by a team of locally based photographers some of whom are the best in the region. They do make you dream about the destinations and give you this to familiar itchy feeling of wanting to return again and promote to friends the destination just as you remember it.
The beauty of each destination is portrayed through 40 – 50 spectacular photographs and 600-700 words fast capturing the essence and meaning of the place and environment.
The books will be available at all major bookstores and will sell in the range of $5US. At this price you can buy a complete series and we believe they will appeal to many enthusiastic travelers, backpackers or business people traveling solo or in a group tour.
They are truly “LITTLE COLLECTABLE GEMS” and we fell for them.
Well done Azu Editions, we will be looking out for more titles throughout the years to come.
